CGL Technologies is currently seeking a full-time Lead Technician in our Pittsburgh-based branch.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the security alarm industry wiring panels, installing field devices, and cabling
- Understanding of the implementation and programming of access control, intrusion, and communication systems
- Ability to read/analyze blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures
- Punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, and organized
- Possess a positive attitude, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and a mechanical aptitude
- Solution-oriented with a commitment to quality and customer service
- Basic computer skills
- Must have a valid state driver’s license, clean driving record, and be able to pass a CORI background check
- Must be able to lift and move equipment/tools weighing up to 40lbs
Responsibilities:
- Perform programming, testing, installation, and maintenance services of access control, IP CCTV, intrusion, and intercom systems’ electronic components
- Record equipment IP addresses, models, and serial numbers
- Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations to ensure systems are operational and complete according to contract requirements
- Accurately document and escalate job issues/status
- Present self professionally in appearance and conduct
- Work independently and as a courteous team member
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in adherence to OSHA regulations
- Willing to be on-call on a rotational basis and travel
